Maggie Knutson, LMP, ACOM
I specialize in deep tissue massage and treatment work. I graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in 2004, and have been working at Sorensen’s since 2005. I completed the Advanced Certification in Orthopedic Massage (ACOM) in 2009, and have also had some training in Reiki and Lomi Lomi massage.
I grew up in Port Angeles, and now live in Sequim with my husband, Brian, and my daughter, Bailey Belle. She was born on December 16, 2009, and keeps me plenty busy when I’m not at work! I love my work and I love my clients.
“Chi flows through the breath,
love flows through the heart, and intertwined,
the energy flows through the hands.”
Joy Tormala, LMP
Joy grew up in Sequim, and has been an LMP for 2 years. She attended Denver School of Massage Therapy in Aurora, CO and graduated from their Professional program in October 2008. She then received further training at the home campus in Salt Lake City, UT and graduated in December 2008. Joy began working at Sorensen Chiropractic in June 2009. She enjoys her work as a Massage Therapist, and likes doing treatment and relaxation work, as she believes massage therapy is not only a means to healing from injury, but also helps bring the body to a state of complete wellness.

Anna Potter, LMP
I am a graduate of Seattle’s Ashmead College with over nine years of clinical experience. I have advanced training in deep tissue, reflexology I, II and III, and pregnancy massage. My most recent continuing education has been Bamboo Fusion and Slipstream Cupping. I have a vast variety of techniques to offer my clients but specialize in a mix of flowing relaxation and deep tissue massage. I have special interest in treating tension headaches and migraines and love working on new and expecting mothers.
I believe that one of the most important aspects of my treatment is to establish a trusting, comfortable relationship with my clients. I make it a point to vary my treatment to meet the goals of each of my patrons.
When not massaging, you can find me in Port Townsend where I live with my wonderful husband of four years. I enjoy trail running, reading and collecting rocks and sea glass along the shore. My areas of independent study include aromatherapy and infant massage.
Chris O’Conner-Perrino, LMP
Hello, In 2007 I graduated from Peninsula College in Port Angeles with more than 750 hours of training. This is my second time with Sorensen Chiropractic, first in 2008 and after 16 month adventure in Issaquah I was able to rejoin the fun in January 2013. I am so happy to be back at this wonderful office. I specialize in deep tissue therapeutic massage. My advance continuing education credits include:• Neckstacy: a special treatment for those suffering from chronic tension headaches and migraines. As someone who suffers from chronic migraines, I wanted to find a way to help relieve the pain.• Manual Lymph Drainage: a very light touch massage to help relieve the fluid built up in the limbs from several surgeries, or the removal of lymph nodes.• Hot Stone: A very nice way to start or end your day. This massage is done to the whole body or just an area that needs to relax. The heated stones bring a deep relaxation to the muscles and spirit. My 19 years of working in NYC with the American Red Cross and FDNY has taught me everyone’s needs are different. It is my goal to treat the whole body, including the soul. When I am not in the office working, I can be found at my little house gardening, or over in Kitsap being a great aunt to my two most favorite people in the world, my nephews. I am proud to say I am owned by 2 cats, which are very spoiled. 2 years ago I ran my first and last half marathon.
Sunrise Coulter, LMP
Yes, Sunrise is my real given name!
I studied massage at Sage School of Massage and Healing Arts in Bend, Oregon. I absolutely love what I do.
I am drawn to treatment work or clinically focused massage. I blend different massage techniques to suit the tissue I am working with and meet our mutual goals. I like to get to know a bit about my clients so I know what you are putting your tissue through.
Having relocated to the sunny North Olympic Peninsula, I spend my free time on my mountain bike or out hiking. I am always happy to hear trail recommendations or good book titles. I love working at this practice with these wonderful people. Stop by to see me and let’s see what we can do together.
